Full Cut Kōwhai Coin Earrings

Not your average vintage coin jewellery!!

Spring is right around the corner, and Kōwhai are already in bloom in some parts around the country. Our Kōwhai are not in full bloom here in Dannevirke yet, just wee fuzzy buds, but I can have the blooms any time of the year I want with these stunning coins.

I've hand sawn around the Kōwhai from vintage NZ two cent coins.

There are three tiny connecting points from the Kōwhai to the outside edge of the coin. Showcasing all the amazing detail of the leaves and flowers.

Connector ring and hooks have been handcrafted from vintage sterling silver that I recycle myself, then form into wire ready for whatever use I require.

These beauties can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth and silver polish.

Like many pieces I create out of vintage or preloved items, they carry signs of a previous well loved life, which makes each piece perfectly imperfect.

Do not wear while swimming, soaking or showering, or spray with perfume etc.

These stunning earrings will come in a gift box, that I have crafted from 100% upcycled materials.
