Kowhai Hoops

These lovely hoops have been handcrafted from vintage sterling silver and two cent coins.

I carefully hand saw around the sweet Kowhai flower, and smooth all edges.

The hammered hoops are formed from sterling silver wire that I make myself. By using vintage sterling silver, melting it down, then forming into wire.

This means that these lovely earrings have been crafted from 100% vintage materials.

Total length including sterling ring and hoops , 3.3cm.

These can be left to naturally oxidize, or if you like the bright shiny look, clean with a soft cloth and some silver polish, then rinse in water.

Like many pieces I create out of vintage items, they may carry signs of a previous well loved life, which makes each piece perfectly imperfect.

Do not wear while swimming, soaking or showering, or spray with perfume etc.

These gorgeous earrings will come in a gift box, that I have crafted from 100% upcycled materials.
